Welcome to the official website of the National Conference on Recent Advances in Engineering and Technology (NCRAET-2K24), 23 April 2024 Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering with Special Emphasis on ‘Make in India’, ‘Digital India’, ‘Startup India’ and ‘Skill India’. The Conference is scheduled to be held on 23 April 2024. NCRAET 2K24 is organized by Faculty/Department of Mechanical Engineering, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE), Kumaracoil – 629 180, Kanyakumari District, TamilNadu, India. The theme of the conference is "Interdisciplinary Trends in Science, Engineering, Technology and Management" and it provides a valuable opportunity for developers and researchers all over the world to engage in scientific discussion about current research areas and latest advancements in Science, Engineering, Technology and Management in shaping the world. The International Conference facilitates the exchange of new ideas in the fields of Smart Science and a dialogue between developers and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns, practical challenges and the solutions adopted in the fields of Engineering, Technology and Management. In the matter of very few years, Science, Applied Engineering, Technology and Management have become a very powerful platform that challenges and changes the way of gaining knowledge of emerging trends.

About NICHE

NICHE-comprising of Noorul Islam College of Engineering as its constituent teaching unit has been declared as a Deemed-to-be-University by Ministry of Government of India under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, on the advice of UGC, vide Notification No.F.9-51/2004-U.3 dated 8th December 2008. The University is run by the NICHE Society with Janab Dr. A.P.Majeed Khan as President of the Society,
NICHE and the Chancellor of the University,NICHE The NICHE campus at Kumaracoil, Thuckalay in Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu is in the serene and lush green base of Velimalai, a spectacular part of Western Ghat Hills near the historically famous Padmanabhapuram Palace. It is only 1.5 km interior towards the foothills of the mountains from Kumaracoil Junction on the Kanyakumari District, Thiruvanthapuram National Highway (NH-47) about 30 km from Kanyakumari and 60 km from Trivandrum, the capital city of the state of Kerala.

About the Department of Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the (NICHE) is one of the largest and most respected departments in the South India, consistently achieving high ratings for teaching quality and research.It was established during 1995. The department offers B.E. (Mechanical Engineering). M.E Computer Integrated Manufacturing, M.E. Thermal Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering [Regular and Part Time]. About 380 research papers published from the department in peer reviewed journals The department also publishes a bi annual National Journal of Emerging Technology in Mechanical Sciences and Engineering.

Conference Objective:

The conference aims to bring together academia and engineers from all over the world to deliberate upon the challenges, opportunities and development towards the advancement of common man's life by improving the theory and practice of various disciplines and sectors of Engineering, Technology and Management especially on Advances in Mechanical science.
